Becoming a Volunteer

 

Volunteering for Make-A-Wish® is easy. Just follow the steps!

 

Step 1: Think about your time and your talents

 

Everyone has something to offer when it comes to granting wishes! Before getting started, think about how much time you'd like to give, then evaluate and list your talents and strengths. Are you bi-lingual? Great at photography? Love to listen and relate to people? There is something for everyone in our volunteer program.

 

Step 2: Complete the Volunteer Questionaire

 

Please print and complete the entire volunteer questionnaire and the volunteer contract and then either mail or email them to the address below. For the protection of the wish families and the Foundation itself, we also require:

a copy of your ID and

Casier Judicaire (Criminal History Report). Request it online here.

A copy of your CV (resume)

 

If you would like to apply for a writing position please provide writing sample.

Step 3: Approval

 

Please email your documentation to volunteers@make-a-wish.lu

 

Once your application has been successfully screened, we will contact you. At this point, you will receive more information on volunteer activities, meetings and more information we may require from you.

 

Step 4: Complete Additional Training

 

Depending on where your interests lie, we may ask you to complete more trainings to help with specific tasks, lead teams or to grant wishes.
